Smoothie bowl for breakfast

Smoothie bowl for breakfast! Vegan and totally delish.

Weekends are for pancakes and waffles, and weekdays are for smoothie bowls and porridges.

This smoothie bowl is my most common breakfast during the week. Here is why:

  • It is quick.
  • It is refreshing.
  • Actually, it almost tastes like an ice-cream)
  • My daughter loves it. If it were up to her, she would eat it every day.

Recently our fav frozen combo is mango, cherries & açai pulp. But any frozen fruit/berries will do.

Do not defrost the fruit before using!

Serves: One adult & one child
Nutrition: 110 kcal 2 g fat 13 g carbs 10 g protein 3 g fibre
  • Ingredients
  • 300 ml unflavored soy yogurt
  • 7-8 frozen cherries
  • A few frozen mango pieces
  • A few frozen banana pieces
  • Frozen açai pulp to taste (optional)
  • 1 full tsp grind flax seed and/or chia seed
  • Toppings (nuts, seeds, fresh fruit & berries, etc.)

Method

Blend all the ingredients.

Divide between two bowls.
